Odisha Medicinal Plants Board’s website hacked by ‘Bangladeshi’ hackers


Bhubaneswar: The website of State Medicinal Plants Board of Odisha was reportedly hacked by some hackers belonging to Bangladesh.

The homepage of the website bore a weird logo entitled “Bangladesh Cyber Ghost”.

“We are Bangladesh Cyber Ghost we have to fix the vulnerabilities of your site. Your admin login system is very weak. Please quickly solve this there is no security of your site you are well on our way to security thanks,” the page read.

“We are legion, We never forgive, We never forget, We never forget, respect us!,” the page further read.

Earlier this year in July, career section of Dhamra Port was reportedly hacked. Similarly, website of Utkal University was allegedly hacked by a group of suspected Pakistani cyber attackers in May last year.

The website of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics, popularly known as Sishu Bhawan, in Cuttack was also allegedly hacked by Bangladeshi hackers in December last year.
