Brahmapur, July 1:
Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda was today acquitted by a court here in this southern Odisha town in a case registered against him under Arms Act at Gosani Nuagaon police station four years ago.
Adjudicating in the case, Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM), Brahmapur, Pradeep Kumar Behera acquitted the jailed Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda as the prosecution failed to prove the charges against the accused in the Arms case.
