On the second day of its investigation into the Itishree Pradhan murder case, the CBI on Thurrsday stuck posters on the boundary walls of Tikiri Upper Primary School premises and other areas in Odisha’s Rayagada district aksing the public to provide any information on the case it may have.
An eight-member CBI team, which had visited the school on the first day of its investigation on Wednesday, arrived at the school again on Thursday.
The team, led by CBI DSP MK Pathak, later interrogated school headmaster Jagadiswara Turuk and cook Sashi Bhusan Nayak behind closed doors for about one-and-half hour. It also collected some reports from the headmaster.
The team, during its two-hour stay at the school, also interrogated Abha Dandasena and Manorama Dei, the two wives of the accused Netrananda Dandasena, hostel superintendent Jogeswar Benia and Itishree’s landlord before she moved into the school hostel.
Before leaving for the district headquarters, the team stuck posters urging the people to provide information about the prime accused in the murder of the lady teacher of the school either through telephone (011-24368636, 24368640, 24368641) or Fax: 011-24368639. Besides, people can also contact the CBI SP on his mobile number 09968081236 and the Investigating Officer (IO) on his mobile number 09650394773, the poster said.
Besides, people can also provide information through the email to [email protected] or send the information by post to the address: Superintendent of Police, CBI SC-1, 5B, CBI Building, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.
The CBI team also stuck the posters at CRCC office, Thakurani temple, Jagannath temple, Revenue Inspector’s office and on the boundary wall of the High School in Rayagada town.
Reliable sources said that the central investigating team will also interrogate the former headmaster of the Tikiri Upper Primary School during whose tenure the incident had taken place. Besides, it will also interrogate his wife.
