The CBI today interrogated former headmaster of Tikiri Upper Primary School in Odisha’s Rayagada district in connection with the murder of Itishree Pradhan, the lady teacher of the school who died on November 1 last year.
The central investigating team, on its third day of investigation, went to the Parishad Upper Primary School in Rayagada town and interrogated the headmaster Chandrasekhar Panda for more than two hours.
“They asked me about my relatives and took down their addresses and telephone numbers. They also asked me a few questions on the death of Itishree and told me that they would come back for another round of questioning later,” Panda told OST.
When asked what exactly the CBI sleuths asked him about the Itishree’s death, he said he does not know about the cause of her death.
“But I told them that I can give details about the events right from the day I admitted her to the hospital till her death,” he added.
