Bhubaneswar, Jun 23:

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counseling process began from today. Students who had appeared in the entrance exam can participate in the counseling by registering themselves on the OJEE website–

This year, the counseling is being held in a new format as students are required to do choice filling and choice locking online. Earlier, the students had to visit nodal centres for their choice locking.

With the new format coming into effect, students will now have to go to nodal centers for verification of documents after choice locking. A total of 25 nodal centers have been set up across the state for the counseling process.

“Students are required to visit and participate in the registration process. Opening for different courses will take place in different dates. The counseling process will go through 8 different stages. This year, we have made certain changes. Students can lock their choice online unlike previous year. Students’ choice will be locked and stored safely in our server. They are advised to enter their mobile number correctly as they will receive an one time password (OTP) in their cell phone,” OJEE chairman Tushar Kant Nath said.

Notably, results of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), held on May 8, were declared on May 30. The results were declared for admissions into 12 courses except medical and engineering in government and private colleges.
