The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of the Odisha government today cleared three project proposals of investment worth Rs 420 crore.
The SLSWCA cleared an investment proposal of Rs 127.35 crore for an aluminium park at Angul with an annual production capacity of 63,000 MT. The park will be set up by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).
Similarly, an investment proposal of Rs 193 crore for a beer manufacturing unit of Som Distillery and Breweries at Khordha with an annual capacity of one lakh kilo litres was approved by the SLSWCA.
Besides, the SLSWCA cleared an investment proposal of Rs 100 crore for an LPG bottling plant by BPCL at Bolangir.
The SLSWCA meeting chaired by state chief secretary A P Padhi decided to provide all necessary assistance for setting up of these projects.
“Grid Conductors Ltd, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL), a Government of India company will set up a 60,000 tonnes per annum unit to manufacture aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors at Angul. The company will make an investment of Rs 127.35 crore for the project,” said Kalyan Mohanty, general manager IPICOL briefing reporters after the meeting.
