The Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) cadre in the state.
As many as 23 IFS officers in the state have been given new assignments, sources said.
While 1987 batch IFS Sudarshan Panda currently director Nandan Kanan Zoological Park has been transferred as RCCF Angul, 1986 batch IFS S K Achrya has been made the new director of the Nandan Kanan Zoo.
Similarly, 1986 batch IFS Deepak Mohanty continues as director Mines after being promoted to the rank of additional PCCF.
Besides, 1984 batch IFS Rebeca Nair is the new additional PCCF (office) and 1991 batch IFS Prafulla Kumar Mallick is new CCF (GIS).
E L Yanger Aier, the 1984 batch IFS has been made the new director (commercial) OFDC while 2004 batch IFS Ananda K Pravakar is new in-charge director Forest Training Institute Angul.
The 1986 batch IFS L K Tiwari has been made new RCCF Sambalpur and 1985 batch IFS Harishankar Upadhyay is new CEO Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC).
Pusa Zhule Mekro, 1988 batch IFS is new RCCF Bhubaneswar while 1988 batch IFS Sashi Paul is new RCCF Berhampur.
Moreover, 1986 batch IFS P Krishna Mohan is appointed new CEO Chilika Development Authority (CDA) and 1985 batch IFS Anup Kumar Nayak has been made the new additional PCCF (Nodal).
