Nachika Linga, leader of Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS), who had surrendered in Podapadar area of Odisha’s Koraput district yesterday, was remanded to judicial custody along with four of his associates today.
The police today produced the tribal leader and his four associates in the JMFC court, which remanded all of them to judicial custody while rejecting their bail plea.
They were later sent to Laxmipur Jail.
The four associates of Nachika, who had surrendered to the police along with him are Sekru Sirika, Arsu Wadeka, Kandru Huluka and Birsu Wadeka.
