Bhubaneswar, Jan 2:
The Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Odisha capital today allowed Government Railway Police (GRP), Bhubaneswar to take Puri series train arson accused Ramachandran Subhas on a two-day remand.
GRP Bhubaneswar had moved the court to take Subash on a five-day remand for interrogation in connection with the low intensity fire that had broke out at the Bhubaneswar railway station on November 12, before five bogies of three trains were reduced to ashes in a major fire at Puri railway station, revealed official sources.
The low intensity fire which was noticed in a Puri bound train at Bhubaneswar railway station was doused by the station authorities.
According to sources, since Subash has not revealed anything on Bhubaneswar fire during his interrogation and polygraph test conduct on him earlier, Bhubaneswar GRP expects to elicit vital information on the Bhubaneswar fire during his interrogation.
