Rourkela, Nov 20:

A month after the murder of a Rourkela-based trader, Odisha cops nabbed one more accused in the case, police sources said today.

According to sources, the city police arrested Sarada Pal who is the second accused in the gruesome killing of Asish Agarwal on October 21 this year.

The murder is fallout of dispute related to business rivalry and land dealings, police said.

Earlier, police had arrested Kuldeep Singh, the main accused, for allegedly committing the crime.

It may be recalled that Agarwal – a resident of Kacheri Road here – was moving towards Main Market when an unidentified man waylaid him and the duo entered into a heated argument. Following this, the man pulled out a gun and fired at the iron trader. Though the bullet missed him narrowly, he ran to save his life. In the meantime, the attacker fired another bullet which hit him on his back.

A profusely bleeding Agarwal fell down near a mall after which police rescued him and admitted to IGH. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on the following day.
