Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today sanctioned Rs 90.71 crore for construction of road and bridge projects across several districts of the state.


According to a press notification issued by the Chief Minister’s office, the road projects include 15 kilometre long Pendurabadi-Bomkai road, 9.7 kilometre Bolangir-Chandanbhati road and expansion of 12.45 kilometre Amapani-Dharmagarh road.

The bridge projects include a large project on Mahanadi between Chipilima-Kugunudarapur and additional funds for construction of railway over bridge above Lingaraj road near Retang station.

While Rs 19.17 crore have been allocated for Pendurabadi-Bomkai road, Rs 9.54 crore have been sanctioned for Bolangir-Chandanbhati road, Rs 25.91 crore for Amapani-Dharmagarh project, Rs 33.98 crore for Mahanadi bridge and Rs 2.68 crore for the railway over bridge.
