Odisha CM hails ISRO scientists for Mission Mars success

Bhubaneswar, Sept 24:

Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for their success in the mission to Mars christened as “Mangalayan”.

“This is a proud moment for every Indian”, Patnaik said after the spacecraft Orbiter  successfully entered the Martian orbit at 515 km away from the red planet’s surface and 215 million km away from the earth in radio distance today.

With this, India has become the the first country in the world to enter the Martian orbit in its maiden attempt.

  1. This is great achievement by Bharat and learning for other countries like US, Russia etc.
    I salute Bharatiy scientists who contributed to the great success of this mission in a very short period of time and with lesser amount of money compared to other countries.
