New Delhi: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here to enquire about the health of recently-separated conjoined twins Jaga-Kalia.
Patnaik met the doctors at the premier institute and also congratulated them for the successful surgery conducted on the Kandhamal siamese twins.
“Odisha would always remember them for their excellent work. I also met the parents and assured them of all help from the state government,” Patnaik said.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the siblings adding that entire Odisha is praying for them.
“Jaga-Kalia are now out of danger. Kalia is taken off ventilator. He is recovering fast. Their condition is stable now,” chief of neuroscience at AIIMS, Ashok Kumar Mohapatra said.
