The District and Session Judge court of Bhubaneswar today deferred hearing on the bail plea of AT Group chief Pradip Sethy, a key accused in the multi thousand crore Odisha chit fund scam, to September 29.
The hearing on the bail plea of Sethy could not be taken up as his lawyer could not make it to the court today.
The hearing on the bail plea of Ranjan Dash, another accused in the case, remained inconclusive today.
Meanwhile, the CBI today produced former advocate general Ashok Mohanty, newspaper owner Madhu Mohanty and land broker Dharmendra Bothra in the special CBI court after their remand period was over.
The hearing on their bail pleas were in progress when reports last came in.
