Bhubaneswar, June 19:

The first meeting of the committee, formed after an all-party meet on Wednesday to resolve the dispute over devotees climbing of chariots and touching the deities during Rath Yatra, was held today at the Law Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo’s chamber at the State Secretariat but failed to come up with any solution.

” The committee will be meeting again tomorrow and we are in fact waiting for the High Court’s order on the PIL filed in the matter,” Puri MLA Maheswar Mohanty told reporters after the first meeting was over.

Mohanty, who chaired the meeting,  however refused to divulge the details of the discussions held today.

Law minister Arun Kumar Sahoo, Puri MP Pinaki Mishra, special DGP Sanjeev Marik, chief administrator Shree Mandir Temple Administration Arabinda Padhee, Water Resources secretary Suresh Mohapatra and Law secretary Mihir Parida attended the meeting
