Bhubaneswar, July 5:
Initiating the process to analyse the reason for the party’s defeat in the twin elections held in April, Odisha BJP has decided to constitute observers’ teams for all 21 Parliament constituencies, which will visit the constituencies to identify the reason for the drubbing and suggest measures to strengthen the party aiming to grab power in 2019 in the state.
Pravari Arun Singh and general secretary (organisation) Prasanna Mishra will constitute the observer teams after consulting with senior party leaders, said sources in BJP.
The teams will initiate their interaction with the grassroots level leaders and district leaders from July 15 by visiting the Assembly and Parliament constituencies. They will analyse the vote share which it got in 2014 elections, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the party in the due process, said Pravari Singh.
He also said the party will held a brain storming session at the party headquarter with senior leaders of the party basing on the reports of the observers’ teams.
