Bhubaneswar: The much awaited E-Visa facility has been granted to the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha capital.
The E-Visa counter has started operating at the airport from January 16, said Suresh Chandra Hota, BPIA Director.
Worth mentioning, BPIA is the 27th airport in the country to have the E-Visa facility.
Currently, Air India and Air Asia are the two airlines providing international flight services from the airport to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, respectively.
With the commencement of the E-Visa facility at the airport, chances of other airlines considering operations at the BPIA is likely to go up.
