Odisha: Armed robbers loot Rs 30 lakh at gunpoint from bank staff
Bhadrak: In a broad daylight heist, three armed robbers looted around Rs 30 lakh from employees of a nationalized bank today in Odisha’s Bhadrak district.
According to sources, three men armed with pistols and daggers came in a bike and waylaid a car in which the bank officials were travelling in near Kuapada village under Bhadrak town police limits.
Police said the robbers had arrived when the employees of UCO Bank of Bhadrak town branch were carrying the cash to deposit in the bank’s Jalanga branch in the district.
No one was injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, the bank officials have lodged a complaint with Bhadrak town police.
No one was arrested in this connection as the last reports came in.
