The interrogation of the former Odisha advocate general Ashok Mohanty over the purchase of a house in Cuttack’s CDA from Artha Tatwa (AT) Group CMD Pradip Sethy in 2013 began around noon today at the CBI office here.
Mohanty had bought this house for Rs 1 crore 1 thousand. He would be quizzed on the details of this transaction during the interrogation, sources said.
Sources in the CBI said Mohanty is being interrogated by three officers of the CBI which include the CBI SP, Investigating Officer and an official of the Special Investigation Team(SIT).
Mohanty was summoned by the CBI team inquiring into the chit fund scam on Friday to appear for interrogation today.
