OCA refunds Rs 70 lakh towards abandoned Ind-Aus ODI

Cuttack, Nov 9:

An amount of Rs. 70, 18,300 was refunded today by the Odisha Crciket Association (OCA) to ticket holders of the abandoned ODI Match (India vs Australia) at Barabati Stadium here on Saturday.

The refund was made at three counters meant for general public and at OCA Conference Hall, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack for affiliated units, through OCA’s banker, Punjab National Bank, CDA-Bidanasi, Cuttack.

The refund of tickets will continue till November 15 for general ticket holders and up November 10 for affiliated units, as announced earlier.

The bar-coding and other security features of the tickets are being duly checked by the staff of Ticket Genie Pvt. Ltd. before refund of the value to determine the validity of the tickets.

The OCA has requested online buyers of ticket once again not to present their tickets at the counters as the system will not accept their tickets. The value of their tickets will be automatically deposited in their accounts through online transaction, OCA said.
