Bhubaneswar, Nov 9:
The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Friday refunded Rs 57,13,800 of cash to the ticket holders against the value of their ticket for the one-day international match between India and Australia which was abandoned last month due to heavy rains.
“The refund process has started at three different counters at stadium from 10 am to 4 pm through our banker, Punjab National Bank, CDA-Bidanasi branch and it will continue till November 15. The bar-coding and other security features of the tickets are being duly checked by the staff of Ticket Genie Pvt. Ltd before refund of the value to determine the validity of the tickets”, said OCA secretary Asirbad Behera.
He said the online buyters have been informed not to present their tickets at the counters as the system will not accept their validity of tickets.
“Their value of tickets will be automatically deposited in their account through online transaction”, he added.
