Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Feb 5:

Struggling with shortage of administrative officers, Odisha is set to get six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 2014 batch as the state cadre officers will be completing their training at Mussoorie academy being conducted by the Government of India.

They are– Chanchal Rana, Kshitij Singhal, Chakravarti Singh Rathore, Shashanka Ala, Yeddula Vijay and Siddhartha Sankar Swain.

Besides, a few senior officers are making their way back to the state. As many as 20 officers are set to return to Odisha from deputation this year which is likely to make path smoother for fellow bureaucrats eyeing central deputation.

Notably, the Central Election Commission had asked Odisha government to send a CEO panel, but the latter is yet to find a suitable candidate for the plum post.

Meanwhile, the 2012 Batch IAS officer Nikhil Pavan Kalyan has been posted as Sub Collector of Berhampur. He was Sub Collector of Titlagarh.
