There was no change in the heat wave condition in Odisha as temperature went up further at some places in the western and southern parts of the state today.
While Talcher remained the hottest place with 43.1 degree Celsius, temperature crossed 40 degrees in Angul (42.9), Jharsuguda (41.4), Keonjhar (40.1), Sambalpur (41.8), Hirakud (41.1), Bhawanipatna (41.5), Bolangir (41.2), Titlagarh (41.5) and Malkangiri (41.2).
A Met office release here this evening said though there is a possibility of rain or thundershower at some places in the north coastal districts in the next 48 hours, there would be no change in the heat wave condition in most parts of the state in the next five days till April 11.
