Bhubaneswar: Amidst criticism by opposition parties over several issues, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik continues to be an invincible leader for the welfare schemes and developmental programmes that take the state on path of growth and progress.
According to survey – State of the States – conducted by leading English Magazine India Today, nine districts in Odisha achieved growth in field of education, health, transport, women’s education, infrastructure and agriculture.
More importantly, Naveen’s home district Ganjam remained at top position as the Best District in education followed by Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Balasore and Cuttack districts in the ranking.
While Bhadrak emerged as the Most Improved district in education, Balasore was ranked second in the list followed by Nabarangpur, Koraput and Balangir districts.
Similarly, Sambalpur stood first as the Best District in agriculture in Odisha and Rayagada became the Most Improved strict in the sector.
In field of Infrastructure, Cuttack remained at top in the ranking while Kendrapara was the Most Improved district. Angul was achived top position in field of prosperity. In Water and Sanitation, Khordha was ranked first followed by Cuttack, Sundargarh, Jagatsinghpur and Puri districts. Jharsuguda emerged as the Best District in Industry, while Nabarangpur became number one in the category of the Most Improved district in the list.
Puri was considered as the Best District in sector of health in the top five list. Cuttack was ranked first as the Best District in the list of providing services followed by Khordha, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Sambalpur.
In Law & Order, Bargarh topped the list. Khordha stood top at ranking of Overall category after Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Sundargarh and Puri.
