The country’s leading aluminium producer National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), has declared a total dividend amount of Rs.322.15 crore (i.e. 25% of the Paid up Capital) for the financial year 2012-13.
This includes Govt. of India’s share of Rs. 261.13 crore. Out of this, Nalco had paid Rs 156.68 crore as interim dividend earlier.
The final dividend of Rs 104.45 crore in the form of cheque was handed over to Union Minister of Mines, Dinsha J Patel, by Nalco CMD Ansuman Das in New Delhi today.
NALCO has paid a total of Rs.4519.17 crore as dividend, including Rs.3920.73 crore to the Union Government, since its inception.
Meanwhile, the CPSU has registered an impressive net profit of Rs.179 crore while its net sales stood at Rs.1710 crore. During the current September quarter, the company has clocked a higher top-line as against Rs.1586 crore in the comparable quarter of the previous fiscal.
