The results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 were declared on Wednesday in which 26, 456 candidates qualified for admission to IITs and NITs.
The results were declared by IIT-Bombay. Satvat Jagwani from Satna, Madhya Pradesh topped the exam scoring 469 out of 504. Janak Agrawal and Mukesh Pareekh, both from Indore, bagged the second and third position respectively.
The All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank for JEE (Advanced) 2015 is available online on the official website www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in from 10 am tomorrow.
Admission to various courses, including B. Tech, B.E and B. Arch in 20 IITs and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad will depend on the JEE rank. Of the 20 IITs, four – in Tirupati, Goa, Palakkad and Raipur – will be functional from 2015-16 session.
Notably, 1.24 lakh candidates had appeared in the two-levels of exam held in April and May.
