Moving car catches fire in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: A moving Honda City car caught fire near Nalco Square in Odisha capital this evening, creating panic among passersby on the busy road.

However, the driver and other occupants of the car managed to get out in time before flames engulfed the vehicle.

A video which captures the incident shows the vehicle was completely damaged in the blaze.

According to reports, the car was on the way towards Patia from Jaydev Vihar when the mishap took place.

After receiving information, Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot and tried to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is not known. Meanwhile, it is suspected that the electric short circuit could be the reason of the blaze.
