Talking to the media, director of Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, Dr Sarat Sahu said although the state has received 44 percent less rainfall in June, the rainfall in July is significant for kharif crop.

He, however, said some parts of the state would receive rainfall as the moisture level in the atmosphere has become high.
