New Delhi, Oct 27:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday wrote a letter of appreciation to a Class 12 student for collecting Rs.2.15 lakh for rehabilitation of the flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In the letter, Modi said there was no cause greater and nobler than helping others, especially those caught in a moment of great adversity.
“The prime minister appreciated Pratyusha’s leadership, organisational abilities and concern for the victims of the flood,” the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement.
After collecting the money, Pratyusha handed it over to the Indian embassy in Kuwait to be sent to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
