Miscreants loot Rs 2.90 lakh at gun point in Odisha’s Kendrapara

Kendrapara: Miscreants looted Rs 2.90 lakh from local Village Level Worker (VLW) at gun point near Kalapada Bagada Panchayat office in Kendrapara district in Odisha today.

According to reports, two miscreants on a bike hit VLW Ramesh Chandra Das while he was returning along with his peon on a motor cycle after withdrawing allowance money from bank on Wednesday.

After Ramesh and his peon fell off the two-wheeler, the miscreants looted the bag that contained Rs 2.90 lakh cash from them at the gun point and fled the spot.
