Miscreants loot Rs 1.5 lakh at gunpoint in Odisha

Khordha, May 24:

Five unidentified bike-borne miscreants this afternoon looted Rs 1.5 lakh at gunpoint from two employees of a private finance company in Khordha district of Odisha.

According to reports, the two employees, identified as Manas Sahoo and Ajay Samal, were returning back to the finance company office at Gurujanga collecting money from Janti.

Five unidentified youths on two bikes were stalking them and intercepted their vehicle near Badatota on Jatni-Khordha road.

They attacked the duo and looted the money threatening them with dire consequences at gunpoint.

The victims have been admitted to Khordha hospital.

On being informed, Jatni police arrived at the spot and started probe into the incident.
