Miscreants loot Bolero at gunpoint, killing one and seriously injuring two when they resisted the robbery, in Rourkela, Odisha.
At Purnapani chowk five youths had hired a Bolero to travel to Birmitrapur, they then asked the driver to stop the vehicle to answer nature’s call before Koderma, last night.
The miscreants than tried to take control of the car, when the other three, including the driver, resisted their attempts they were attacked with a machete.
The deceased was killed and dumped on road.
While the others were seriously injured by the machete and were asked to climb down the car at gunpoint.
The deceased is identified as Kishore Badhai, while the driver and Badhai’s friend have been admitted to IGH hospital in Rourkela.
Sundergarh SP and other police officials have reached the spot for investigations. The hand of PLFI has been suspected, according to sources.
