Good news! Classes will begin for MBBS in Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Koraput district from this academic session.
“Medical Council of India (MCI) team was satisfied during its visit here. Whatever is required as per MCI guidelines starting from facilities to infrastructure including college building and hostels for 100 students has been completed. The MCI team has left on a very positive note. MCI team will send its recommendation to Government of India. Following which Government of India will grant us Letter of Permission (LoP). After getting LoP, admissions for 100 seats will take place. We are very much hopeful and positive that we will be granted LoP,” informed Sitaram Mohapatra, Superintendent Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital, Koraput.
