Maoists Sunday torched three camps belonging to contractors and eight vehicles kept in these camps in Odisha’s Koraput district.
More than 100 ultras raided three camps set up by contractors at Taupadar, Barabandh and Katuguda under Pottangi police limits on Sunday night and set ablaze the camps and eight vehicles including earth-moving equipment, reports said. Some people at the Toupadar camp were also attacked by the ultras, the reports added.
The ultras have left behind a poster at the Toupadar camp in which they have opposed construction of a road leading to the Deomali hills.
