The Maoists killed three villagers late on Sunday night in Malkangiri district of Odisha, reports said.
According to reports, about 20 armed Maoists barged into Kopara, Udayagiri and Mahupadar villages under Mathili police station limits and shot dead three villagers.
The bodies of these deceased were found on the outskirts of their villages this morning.
While the identity of the deceased were not immediately known, the letters left behind by the ultras indicate that the three were “executed” for trying to build resistance against the Maoists by organising people.
