Maoists terror is back in Bandhugaon in Koraput district with two gruesome murders and arson.
Local sources said a group of over 30 armed Maoists had raided Kumbhariput village under Bandhugaon police limits late on Saturday night and unleashed terror in the area for over an hour.
Bodies of two persons with their throats slit open have been recovered on Sunday morning, police reports said. They have been identified as Huika Daso(50) and Saraka Bandu (50). The posters left behind on the spot by Maoists justified the murders saying these two were acting as police informers.
The Maoists have also set on fire two road rollers, a JCB and a tractor owned by ARSS company. They have also ransacked a telephone exchange, police sources added.
