Koraput, July 27:
In their second gruesome act of violence in two days, Maoists killed a tribal in Bandhugan area of Odisha’s Koraput district late on Saturday night.
Later, they took him to the outskirts of the village where they slit his throat.
The villagers found the body early this morning.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and seized a letter found near the body.
In the letter, the Maoists said that they killed the tribal as he was a police informer.
Following the incident, a combing operation has begun in the area.
