Malkangiri: With only a day left for the general elections, Maoist posters threatening people to boycott the polls were found in Mathili area of Malkangiri district today.

Through the poster, Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) Darbha Division Committee alleged that candidates for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are incompetent.

“The candidates visit the remote areas in the district during election time only to seek votes and disappear after that. All are fraudsters. Don’t believe them and boycott the elections,” the poster mentioned.

Earlier, similar posters were found in Maoist-hit villages under Mathili police station in the district.
