Unleashing their terror tactics yet again, Maoists have murdered a former Naib sarpanch, by slitting his throat after dragging him out of his house late last night in Koraput district in Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna Miniaka, who was killed on suspicion of being a police informer, according to reports.
Yesterday, 40 to 50 red rebels barged into the house and had called him into the forest for hunting. They later slit his throat and killed him.
Red rebels slit the throat of Miniaka who belongs to Jeypore, Bandhugaon block, Kaberi Panchayat , Narayanpatana area late on Friday night.
In another incident a youth, Rohini Nachika after being dragged out of his house by Maoists at Barigaon village under the Narayanpatna block was also killed.
In the last 2 weeks, Maoists have killed 5 people in the area.
