Man arrested in Odisha capital for impersonating examinee

Twin city Commissionerate Police today arrested a 28-year-old man in Odisha capital for impersonating an examinee at the online examination conducted by Regional Rural Bank (RRB).

The person arrested for giving the examination held at Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) College in the city on behalf of Rahul Kumar has been identified as Kamal Kishore (28) of Bihar.

Khandagiri police sources said Kishore was first nabbed by the college management while checking the applicants’ identity and later handed over to them. Kumar is on the run, the police said.

“A case has been registered in this regard and Kishore was produced in a local court here today,” they added.
