Lopamudra Mishra, who had alleged of being physically and mentally tortured by her industrialist father-in-law Trailokya Mishra and husband Sabyasachi, today, filed a fresh complaint at the Badagada police station in the Odisha capital.

Lopamudra alleged in her complaint that she has been receiving threats to her life on Facebook and WhatsApp.

Earlier, Lopamudra had lodged a complaint with the same police station on June 15 that some unidentified youths on June 14 night had barged into the Tankapani Road residence of her parents where she is currently residing and had threatened to kill her and kidnap her son.

It is worthwhile to mention here that Lopamudra had lodged a complaint at the Mahila Police Station on May 10 this year vide case no. 117/2016 alleging to have been subjected to physical and mental torture for dowry by her husband and her in-laws.

Since no action was taken by the police even after a month of her lodging the complaint with the police she revealed her story of torture before the media.

Lopamudra even alleged that her husband had proposed to her for wife-swapping when they were on a visit to Port Blair.
