Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today summoned the Director General of Police (DGP) and Commissioner of Police and directed them to immediately arrest a gang of dacoits, who looted the house of Justice PK Mohanty, former judge of the Odisha High Court in the CDA area in Cuttack city late on May 29 night.
The chief minister summoned DGP Sanjeeb Marik and Police Commissioner Dr RP Sharma to the State Secretariat here and asked to them to expedite investigation and track down the dacoit gang at th earliest.
He also asked them intensify patrolling in Bidanasi and CDA areas in Cuttack and take appropriate steps for installation of install CCTVs at all sensitive locations in the Millennium city.
Meanwhile, commissioner police have formed four special squads to nab the dacoit gang.
However, there is no trace of the gang members till date.
