Bhubaneswar, June 5:
Scores of visitors were deprived of witnessing the light and sound show at Odisha’s Dhauligiri due to electrical damage caused due to lightning on Friday.
As per reports, the equipment was found burnt-out while the officials took a trial run after thunderstorm on Friday afternoon following which visitors had to return from the ticket counter queue.
“We have already informed the commissioned company to repair the defunct machine. Their engineers will repair it in a couple of days here and the show will resume,” said tourist officer Sasanka Sekhar Rath.
Lightning is attributed to be the cause of the damage to the equipment.
Notably, Tri Colour India has undertaken the commissioning of the light and sound project.
