Bhubaneswar: The people of Odisha residing in villages can also be able to watch live matches of the upcoming Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 on large TV screens in all the assembly constituencies.
In view of the huge sale of tickets for the hockey matches, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed all the legislators to make arrangement for their constituency people to watch the matches live on LCD screens.
According to reports, each constituency will get three LCDs installed for the hockey matches.
Meanwhile, the Argentina team has reached Bhubaneswar for the upcoming mega event scheduled from Nov 28.
The craze inside people for the opening ceremony of the national sport had never been seen before.
While the opening ceremony of the Hockey World Cup is scheduled at Kalinga Stadium on Nov 27, the World Cup Celebration event will be held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack next day.
Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and music maestro AR Rahman will be performing at the opening ceremony at Kalinga Stadium.
