Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has posted 95 percent result in +2 Science Examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, results of which were declared today.
Out of 345 students from the institute who appeared and passed the examination, a large number of students achieved first and second division, according to the sources.
Rajanikant Naik secured highest number with 80 percent mark among the KISS students. Rajani has also qualified JEE Main and he is preparing for JEE Advance. As many as 17 students from primitive tribal group like Saura, Paraja, Kharia, Juanga, Kutia Kondh, and Khaira have passed +2 Science exam. It is a rare feat to educate and groom tribal students from remote areas of the state and enable them to achieve cent percent result every year, opined intellectuals. The state’s overall pass record is 80%.
