Additional judge Justice Satrughana Pujahari would be sworn-in as a permanent judge of the Odisha High Court tomorrow.
A notification this effect was issued by the office of the registrar of the High Court on Tuesday.
Born on September 24, 1960 at Subalaya village in Sonepur district, Justice Pujahari, after completing his graduation from Rajendra College in 1983, Bolangir, completed LLB from Lal Lajpat Rai Law College, Sambalpur in 1986.
He began his career as an advocate in 1987 and was appointed additional district and sessions judge of Ganjam in 2003.
He was also posted as the district and sessions judge of Koraput, Ganjam, Puri and Bolangir and chairman of the Sales Tax Tribunal.
He was appointed member secretary of Odisha State Legal Services Authority, Cuttack and principal secretary of the Law department of the state government.
Justice Pujahari was elevated to the Odisha High Court bench as an additional judge on November 29, 2013.
