The result of the all India JEE Main Engineering Entrance examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), was announced this afternoon.
A total of 13.50 lakh students including 50,000 from Odisha had appeared the JEE Main offline examination on April 4 and JEE online examination on April 10 and 11.
The students can download their marks from the JEE and CBSE websites while they would get the rank card on July 7.
The rank of the students would be decided on the basis of the marks they have secured in the JEE Main examinations and the Plus Two examinations.
Students securing rank in the state would be entitled to admission in any engineering institute in the state while students securing rank in the all India level would be eligible to take admission in any engineering institute of their choice.
Students with their names in the first 1,50,000 list would be eligible for JEE Advance Test on May 24.
Sources in the CBSE said the students who have qualified for the JEE Advance test will have to register their name on May 2 and download their admit card on May 9.
Those securing good rank in the JEE Advance test would be eligible for admission in the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), National Institute of Technology (NIC) and Centrally-funded engineering institutes.
The results of the JEE Advance test would be announce on June 18.
