YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy is likely to visit Bhubaneswar tomorrow, Sunday, to meet with chief minister Naveen Patnaik to seek BJD’s support to oppose the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh , sources told OST.
He called on President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Saturday to urge him to keep Andhra Pradesh united and submitted a 5-page memorandum opposing the central government’s decision to carve out a separate Telangana state.
Jagan had met Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata two days ago to lobby for the cause of a united Andhra Pradesh.
The YSR Congress leader may also discuss the current political situation and the possibilities of forming a Third Front before the 2014 general elections.
