The District and Sessions Court of Rayagada in Odisha has fixed April 16 to pronounce its verdict in the sensational Tikiri Upper Primary School teacher Itishree Pradhan murder case.
After hearing both sides, the court completed its hearing in the case today.
While 36 persons have deposed from the prosecution side in the case, only five have deposed for the opposite side.
Itishree Pradhan– a lady teacher of Tikiri Upper Primary School in Rayagada district– was set on fire inside her room in the school campus on the night of October 27, 2013, following which succumbed to her injuries at the CARE Hospital at Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on November 1, 2013.
