Odisha registered a thrilling victory over Tripura by three runs in the Inter State East Zone One-Day Limited Overs Cricket Tournament at Kalyani in West Bengal today.
Put in to bat, Odisha made 195 all out in 49.3 overs with Anurag Sarangi scoring the highest score of 68 runs followed by a quick-fire 31 by Suryakant Pradhan.
For Tripura, TS Saha claimed three wickets while MB Mura Singh, Rana Dutta an SS Majumdar bagged two wickets each.
In reply, Tripura fell short of the victory target by three runs as the team folded up for 192 in 49 overs.
UU Bose was the top scorer for the team with 43.
For Odisha, Basant Mohanty got two wickets and Suryakant Pradhan and Paresh Patel shared one wicket each while the remaining six batsmen were run out.
With this win, Odisha bagged four points from the match.
